You all know that I normally keep my blogging literary. However, I am crazy busy these days getting ready to go to Toronto for a month-long writing residency. (The packing list said to be prepared to "walk along the beach by day, and frolic by the bonfire in the evenings." It has been a long semester and I am more than ready to get my frolic on.

But, my dear blog community, I have a silly little game to keep you occupied while I am sort of out of the loop for the next day or so. I went to this site and uploaded my photo. The idea is that they are suppossed to figure out what celebrity you look like. The results were freaky.. and not in a good way.. um... with no further ado:

The first time, they said I look like this person:

The next time it was:

And when it came up with THIS, I QUIT!

(of course, Ed found it first.)

Tayari that is too funny. You don't look a thing like any of them. You are far more beautiful!

And what I would give to be going to a writing residency...hopefully one day.

That is very funny! In Baltimore at the American Visionary Art Museum, we have a race and culture exhibit and there was something called the Human Race machine (not sure if it is still at the museum). The machine would scan your face anad then show you what you looked like in different races. I was one strange looking Hispanic woman. Actually, I looked strange in all the races. I started wondering if I looked strange to everybody. Decided right then and there that I was OK just the way God made me.

Magic Johnson??? It must be the cheeks.....

I just tried the service and apparently look 58% like Heather Locklear.

Hi,
I was so amused by that face recognition thing. I apparently look like Tyra Banks. Don't I wish? Or wait, do I? I tried that human genome machine that changes your race also. It was exhibited at my college. I looked strange as everything, Hispanic, everything. I looked very good as a black person though (a sign perhaps?). More African American than the complete African that I am (I think you can tell the difference sometimes?). Well anyway, I really like your blog. Thanks for an entertaining couple of minutes (ok I'll confess. More like couple of hours laughing at all my girlfriends whose pictures were recognized as balding men).
