Look at this. Morrison reads a poem by her friend, the late June Jordan. There are some other gems on this site: Have you ever heard the voice of Langston Hughes? I am subscribing to the podcast!

Hi Tayari-

I took an African American Lit class once and the textbook "Call and Response" came with a wonderful cd of people reading their own poetry. Langston Hughes was on there reading his poem "The Negro Speaks of Rivers". It was so moving to hear him read his own work. Also, on the cd was Claude Mckay, and Amiri Baraka. I love that cd!
