  • Tina McElroy Ansa has nothing against "urban lit", but she thinks there must be variety on our shelves.
  • This is the cutest little girl, ever.
  • Shelly points out that the NYTBR isn't doing right by Toni Morrison.
  • I linked to Nick Mamatas's article about writing term papers for hire. I thought the piece was interesting, but he didn't do himself any favors with this interview on On The Media. Question to self: why does it seem even slimier when we find out that he sells term papers for a living, but when he gets irritated with his clients, he rats them out thier prof?

    Re Fictionaut Five: I'm with you on 1.5 of those. I too think I would have been a hairstylist in a different life. As for "whiskey vs. yoga" as much as I like my single-malts, I'm about to take that cash and get back into (Bikram!) yoga.
