Am I the last one the know that Ashford and Simpson are making a musical from E. Lynn Harris’s novel, Invisible Life? I really can’t imagine it.

    No, I guess I am the last to know. I thought there were plans to make “Invisible Life” into a major motion picture. Now I would’ve gone to see that. But they are making it into a musical? Hmmm… I think I will skip that one… As it is, I’m not a big fan of the black plays going around on the chitlin’ circuit scene…
    Celie, I tell you what… you go see it first, and tell me how it is. If I am gonna drop 20-40 bucks on a play, it better be worth it.
    Maybe I will pick up that soundtrack, though!
